IonAPI provides access to AI models through API keys and AI Chat. Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it or access other accounts.
Keep your password and API keys private. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials. You can suspend or delete keys in the console.
Requests consume your available balance at the displayed model rates. Actual charges depend on input, output and cached tokens reported for each request; review your usage in the console.
Model availability and response times depend on upstream providers. Responses may be inaccurate; check important results before relying on them.
We use your email to manage your account and store your password as a hash. Your account also stores your avatar, balances and API-key settings.
For API requests we record metadata such as the model, token usage, cost, response status, latency, IP address and user agent. Requests made with API keys are not stored as text.
AI Chat in the console saves your conversations to your account so you can return to them: message text, model answers and reasoning, attached files (images, PDF, text, video frames), selected model and token usage. Only you can see them. Deleting a chat removes its messages and files from our database.
Your prompts are sent to the upstream model provider to generate a response. Avoid sending sensitive information that you do not want processed by the provider.
The site uses an authentication cookie, local storage for your language and AI Chat model choice and session storage to preload your console data. Signing out clears the session cache on this device.
